We got off the ship with no problems and took a shuttle to pick up a 12 passenger van. Once we got the van we took off for Pearl Harbour. We went to the USS Arizona Memorial and the USS Missouri Battleship.
While waiting to go to the USS Missouri the kids checked out all the guns and torpedoes they have on display.
Before going out to the memorial, we watched a 20min movie about Pearl Harbour. Then you take a little boat out to the USS Arizona. It is amazing how the oil is still leaking out of it.
Once we left the memorial we took a bus over to Ford Island to the USS Missouri. This is where the treaty to end WWII was signed. It was very cool seeing how it started and ended.
Luke loved going on the ship. I think he touched everything he could.
They all took turns sitting in the captions chair. Faith sitting, Madison waiting, Luke climbing.
We left there and headed to the hotel for a night before flying home. Another long flight. Had a wonderful time. If you ever get the chance to go take it.
