is that a croc. Yep, that is what you are looking at. We have some friends who are licenced gator trappers for SW Florida and they caught a crocodile the other day. He has been trapping for over 26 years and this is only the 6th crocodile he has caught. It was 8ft long.
He catches gators all the time and had one in the cooler that he was able to bring out. The kids were able to see the differences between a croc and a gator. There are almost 3 million gators in Florida so they are considered a nuisance and are killed if caught and sold for meat. We were given a box to bring home. Yummy gator nuggets. The Crocodile is an endangered species so this one is going to be relocated to a better place.
Here is my little crocodile hunter. He was so excited to see a crocodile. One of his favorite shows is The Crocodile Hunter. He was devastated when he died. Mr. Dave said he would take Luke out trapping with him one day.
