Ahoy

We have a co-op class that meets at my house on Tuesdays. There are 12 school age kids and 2 3yr olds. We are doing a program about new world explorers. This week we were talking about the ships they used and decided to make our own. I couldn't get everyone in one picture. They were spread out all over. They each had a banana box, one tree branch, a sail and lots of craft supplies. What imaginations these kids have.


In the past couple of classes we dried fruit and made a captain's log so when they finished they sat in their ship, ate dried fruit(they all loved the pineapple the best) and journaled in their log.
