Faith had her 13th birthday yesterday. Yes I did type 13. Man time goes so fast. We had some family and friends over to celebrate. First it was dinner, TACOS, one of her favorite foods.

Then some gifts, a new bow for her hair. She loves bows, says she feels bare without one. Is that too sweet.

Then laughing at the shirt she received. It has a Smurf on it and says" Spaced out". That is Faith most of the time :)

Here comes that cake, pistachio. YUMMY

She come home today and said that a lot of people keep asking her how it feels to be a teen. Of course she says "I feel the same." Some people say she can now watch PG-13 movies or she is going to get an attitude , or even do you have a boy friend. I so love her reply "Just because you become a teen doesn't mean you have to change who you are." She certainly has her thoughts on dating, how she likes to dress, and what movies she wants to watch and they are not at all how the world thinks a 13 year old should be wearing or acting. Lord, I thank you for my daughter who is the 2% that stands for what she believes and doesn't let anyone change who she is. I pray she continues to follow your path and not the one that this world thinks you have to follow.
